DON'T JUDGE A CAKE BY ITS ICING

Book 5 has been a fun romp to write. I'm on chapter 10 of 15. Poppy Ellis is up to her elbows in facts and clues that take her up and down the roads, homes, and shops of Tibbyhill to find the culprit who sabotaged a village cake-off in her tea shop. Was it a judge, an onlooker, or another contestant that tainted a cake to cause a horrible reaction when eaten? There's also a loveable pug dog that ends up as a guest with Poppy and her aunts in their flat above the shop. Red herrings intermingle with the real perpetrator for twists and turns. Stand by. I hope to have it out in November. Cheers

If you're interested in seeing beautiful scenes of the English coastlines click the Facebook logo at the top of my first page of the website. I've had an opportunity to travel all round England and I share the photos my good friend, Lillie Harris, has taken. She's a great photographer. I'm forever cutting people's heads or feet off in my shots, or getting the grass but not the trees! It's a virtual tour that lasts all through August. You can almost hear the waves crashing. Cheers

If you enjoy holiday themed cozy mysteries, I think uP FROM THE GRAVE: A Berdie Elliott Lenten Mystery could be just the read for March and April. Visiting church gardens during the Easter season was a part of my research for the book which features the very thing. A mystery is buried there and Berdie digs until she gets to the bottom of it! I've included a picture of a cathedral garden I was blessed to tour.
